Octoberfest Pork with Mushrooms
4 boneless pork chops 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1/3 cup chopped onion 4 tbsp water 2 cusp sliced mushrooms 1/4 tsp thyme 1/3 cup beer 2 teaspoons flour
Season chops with salt/pepper. Add to skillet sprayed with nonstick spray. Cook 2 min on each side until browned. Remove chops and cover to keep warm.
Add onion and 2 tblsn of water to skillet. Cook medium heat for 2 min, stirring frequently. Add chops, mushrooms, thyme & beer. Reduce heat to med-low, cover and cook 8-11 min til no longer pink. Combine remaining water and flour, blend well, add to skillet. Cook and stir until thickened.
