1 pkg fresh tortillini 1 pint fresh whipping or heavy cream 1/4 lb sliced prosciutto, coarsley chopped. 2 tbsps nutmeg
Boil tortillini according to pkg directions. In a medium saucepan, heat cream over medium heat, stirring frequently to avoid scorching. When cream thickens, add nutmeg and prosciutto. Drain tortillini and serve pane (pah-nay) sauce over top of the tortillini.
*This is an authentic Northern Italian recipe I obtained while living in Italy.
