Butterscotch Oaties Servings: 42 Points per cookie: 2
6 oz. butterscotch morsels ¾ cup butter 2 TBS boiling water 1 tsp baking soda 2 cups quick oatmeal ¾ cup sugar 1 cup flour 1 dash salt
Melt morsels and butter together. Remove from heat.
Mix boiling water and baking soda together, add to morsel melt.
Mix dry ingredients together and gradually add to morsel mixture.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. (Cookies will spread out!)
Bake at 350º for 10 minutes
Per serving: 85 calories: 4g fat; 1g protein; 12g carbohydrate; trace dietary fiber; 9mg cholesterol; 72mg sodium. Exchanges: ½ grain (starch); ½ fat; ½ other carbohydrates
