Pizza Crust Dough (bread machine)
Servings 12 Points 2
1 cup water 2 Tbsp vegetable oil 1 Tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 1/2 cup bread flour 2 1/4 tsp yeast
Place ingredients in breadmaker in order listed, starting with water. Program: DOUGH. Once finished, Place dough on lightly floured surface. Divide in half and press into a 12 inch pizza pan, raising edges. Sprinkle each pan with 1T cornmeal if desired. Generously poke dough with a fork. Bake at 400F for 10 minutes or until edges of crust begin to turn a light golden brown. Remove, add toppings, and return to oven to bake an additional 10-15 minutes.
This makes enough dough for 2 thin-crust pizzas, 6 slices each. I added 1 1/2 tsp of oregano to the dough to give it a kick.
