Cheddar Chicken Chowder

1/3 ounce lean ham -- diced 2 cups chicken breast half without skin -- cooked & shredded 1 1/2 cups leeks -- chopped 1 cup red bell pepper -- diced 2 cloves garlic -- minced 2 cups chicken broth 2 cups vegetable broth 16 ounces hashed brown potatoes 14 1/2 ounces creamed white corn, low sodium 3/4 cup frozen corn kernels 3 tablespoons flour 1 1/3 cups fat free half-and-half 1/2 cup reduced fat cheddar cheese -- shredded 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon celery seed 1/2 teaspoon pepper 2 ounces green chiles -- minced
Saute ham in large pan coated with cooking spray. Add leeks, red pepper, and garlic. Saute about 5 mins, adding a little broth if necessary. Add broth, potatoes, creamed-corn, corn, chilies, and chicken. Simmer 20 mins.
Whisk together flour, half and half, and seasonings. Slowly stir into pot. Simmer on low 10 mins. Stir in cheddar cheese.
